Weathering Winter Boredom

Cold temperatures, snow and rain don’t have to keep you and your horse apart

When winter temperatures plummet and ice begins to form, not everybody is game enough to hitch their horse to a sled and take off across the snow. In fact, the easiest thing to do is hole up in the house, talking horses on Facebook or catching up on horse movies via Netflix. But what about your horse? He doesn’t have the same diversions, and unless you turn him out for the winter, he could get pretty bored in his stall. Are there any ways for you to interact with your horse when the ground is frozen or it’s too wet to ride?.
