The Texas Paint Horse Club generated an outpouring of
support that went far beyond a typical horse show.
From her pink shirt to her pink corsage, Texas Paint Horse Club President Renee
Robinson of Keller, Texas, was downright rosy at the club?s Power of Pink show,
which was September 10?11 at the Extraco Coliseum in Waco, Texas. With a great
turnout?more than 100 horses generated 420 entries during the weekend, despite
devastating wildfires around the Lone Star State that kept many folks at
home?the two-judged Power of Pink show was a resounding success. For Robinson,
the show represented nearly a year of hard work by her team, as well as a
personal goal: to create a show in support of the Paint Horse industry women and
their families who have faced breast or ovarian cancer.
