National hymns provide the musical backdrop for the
largest Paint Horse show outside the United States.

As the first few notes of Belgium?s national anthem floated through the crisp Bavarian air in the Gut Matheshof arena, everyone stopped. Conversations ceased, spectators rose, hats came off and all present turned towards the awards ceremony, taking a moment to honor the first European Paint Horse Champion of 2011.
