In December 2009, Keith Trapp of Fayetteville, Ohio, was in a points race, trying to secure a top APHA Honor Roll spot for his 2006 black overo gelding Ima Cool Windfall. He knew a Zone-O-Rama would be good opportunity to seal the 3-Year-Old Halter Gelding division, so he loaded up his gelding and trekked from Ohio to Gainesville, Florida. The trip was long and cold, but fairly uneventful—until he reached the Florida border.
