Rebecca Tyler Lockhart had always loved Paint Horses—while she was partial to
Quarter Horse conformation, she knew nothing jazzed up a versatile stock horse
like a little bit of chrome. A respected horsewoman from Gainesville, Texas,
with valuable connections throughout the industry and a passion for Paints that
burned deep, Rebecca embarked on the quest to develop a new breed registry.
