Get ready for Great Outdoors Month!

The American Recreation Coalition has ­declared June “Great Outdoors Month,” and in the spirit of their mission to get the people of America outside, we’re passing their message on to Paint Horse owners. This event stresses the importance of recreation as a means of promoting ­volunteerism, using nature as an ­educational platform and the healthy benefits of outdoor activities.

The long, cold winter has left many of us longing for some time in the sun. However, we’re not the only ones suffering from cabin fever. Our equine partners also need some time in the fresh air to help them get in gear for the busy season ahead. While most owners spend time with their horses outdoors doing general riding and training, we encourage you to get outside and play with your Paint.
